Tracking on standard PV trackers is generally used to minimize the angle of incidence between the PV panel and the incoming light. Panels on standard trackers always gather the available direct light.

Standard PV trackers work with all standard PV modules such as thin film panels (amorphous, CdTe, microcrystalline and CIGS) and crystalline silicon panels (multicrystalline, monocrystalline and polycrystalline).
